Pastors & Elders

  • Bill grew up in Milford, OH in a Christian home. He heard the gospel all his life and trusted in Christ at the age of 12. Bill headed south to Toccoa Falls College in Georgia. On the first day of school, he met the woman who would become his wife. Bill graduated with a degree in Pastoral Ministries in 1995, and served as youth pastor in 2 churches, in Portsmouth, Virginia and Blairsville, Georgia. He left Blairsville in 2005 to work on his Master of Divinity degree at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. While in Seminary, Redeemer Baptist Church was born, and Pastor Bill moved with his family back to Blairsville. He finally completed his M.Div. in 2012. He has served at RBC since the founding in August 2009. Bill has been married to Beth for 31 years and they have two grown children, Will and Emmi, and one big Labradoodle named Ruger.

  • Noah grew up in Blue Ridge, GA and was raised in a Christian home. With a father and mother who loved Christ, he heard the Gospel each week and trusted in Jesus at the age of 10. As he was about to graduate from Dalton State College with a BBA in Management, through God’s providence, he felt the call into vocational ministry. During this time, he met his wife Amy, and they decided to move to Louisville, KY to attend The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. After four years, he completed his Master of Divinity degree and was called to RBC to labor alongside Bill as an associate pastor. Noah and Amy have two sons, John Owen and Elisha James.

  • David is originally from California and is married to his wife Susan. They have two grown daughters who are now married. After attending medical school in Florida, he and his wife moved to North Georgia where he now works as a Physician’s Assistant at Union General. David has a heart for people using their gifts to glorify the Lord.

  • Eddie grew up in Blue Ridge, GA. He was raised in a Christian home as the son of a faithful Baptist pastor and was converted at the age of 12. He is married to his wife Becky. They have three grown sons, two of which are married. They have one granddaughter and two grandsons. Vocationally, Eddie is the Director of The Fannin County Parks and Recreation Department. He and his wife have been members of RBC since February of 2022.

  • Chris Fiske

    DEACON OF HOSPITALITY

    Chris was 25 years-old when he came to know the Lord. He has been married to his wife, Marta since 1972. They have a son and a daughter, as well as five grandchildren! They began attending RBC in April 2018.

  • Joey Roderick

    DEACON OF TECHNOLOGY

    Joey was born in Virginia but has lived in the mountains of North Georgia since he was a teenager. He was converted and baptized at the age of six, and has been married to his wife Bekah since 2015. They have four beautiful children together. Joey has been a member at Redeemer since 2010.

  • Doug Collins

    DEACON OF MEMBER CARE

    Doug was raised in Claremont, GA in a home where his mother and father faithfully attended church. At the age of nine, he became a believer and was baptized. He has been married to his wife Rebecca for 59 years. They have two kids, thirteen grandkids, and thirteen great-grandkids! Doug and his wife Rebecca are both charter members of RBC. He is now retired after working as a Physician’s Assistant for 36 years.

  • Charlie Gibson

    DEACON OF BUILDING MAINTENANCE

    Charlie was born and raised in Hiawassee, Georgia before joining the Navy in 1976. After his military service, he lived and/or worked in various countries around the world before returning to North Georgia upon retirement. Charlie came to know Jesus Christ as his Savior at the age of 35 and has been a Christian for 31 years. He has been married to Joann for 30 years who came to know Jesus as Lord at a small underground church in Saudi Arabia where they were living at that time. They became members of RBC in the spring of 2024. Charlie and Joann have two adult children, Avery and Harlan.

  • Jordan Keough, Deacon of Security

    Jordan grew up in the mountains of Western North Carolina. By God’s grace, he was converted at the age of six. Jordan has been been married to his wife Miranda for 16 years, and they have five children. In 2019, the Keough family moved to Blairsville and one year later became members at RBC.
